Hello: I am a seeker of peace and love on this planet.  I believe that it just may be possible for people to live in peace and harmony as idealistic as that may seem.  John Lennon's song “Imagine” is my philosophy and perhaps maybe one day Harmony on this planet will prevail.  I have  MA degree in Counseling Psychology and am also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.  I worked in the field of Social Services/Mental Health for over 22 years and have seen the “lost” souls of our society.  It is my belief that in order to change the consciousness of the planet a complete and utter paradim shift in thinking must happen.  I find no reason anyone on this planet should go hungry, be homeless and/or be a victim of senseless violence.  I have never been a materalistic person and still am not.  I believe in the quality of life and I don't think quality is equated with things.  What is in one's soul, spirit, heart and conscience is what matters.  Perhaps technology has been our enemy in the sense that we have become insolated and isolated sitting behind our computers, our steering wheels and in front of our TV sets.  Getting back to what matters, human contact is what we need more of.  I have always been an optimistic person and this attitude has gotten me through many trials and tribulations which I have had to encounter in life.  I consider myself to be a strong woman, a survivor landing on my feet in the face of adversity.  I am open minded and am an independent thinker.  I have always walked to the tune of a different drum.  Perhaps I can find like minded people on this site.
